REM is a compact yet comprehensive management education program, focusing on renewable energies. As such, the curriculum covers the subjects and areas relevant for executives and future leaders in industries and businesses in renewable energy and related markets. The modules provide both solid foundation in all aspects of the socio-economic framework and the management and functional skills of renewable energy management:
• International team initiatives: leaving a positive and lasting social impact. International effort and formal requirement. • Students are in charge of planning, initiating and successfully completing initiatives. • SIMagination teams choose from existing project portfolio. • Responsibility of the student teams to live up to course expectations. Minimum time investment: 120 hrs /student. • Accompanied initiatives enriched with expertise and supported financially (matching-grant policy).
The course Entrepreneurial Sustainability Management starts from the major sustainability challenges for economy and society and covers the consequences for business and management. It gives a broad introduction into the purpose of business and into the management challenges on a strategic and operational level. The course aims at clarifying the possibilities and impacts of a sustainable entrepreneurship. It is highly interactive to develop the students’ capacity for active engagement and reflectivity.
